Macintosh users - please note carefully!
The software that you will download is compressed so that it takes less time to transfer the software to your machine. You will need to use Aladdin Systems® Stuffit Expander(tm) to decompress the downloaded file. If you are using Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, you probably already have Stuffit Expander.

After you've successfully completed the download and the installation,
a new folder ("Knowledge Finder...") will have been created on your hard
drive. Before clicking on the KF icon to start the Knowledge Finder
program,
be sure you're first connected to the Internet (if your Web browser
works correctly, you're probably connected OK). Note that
Knowledge
Finder does not automatically make this connection. Most of
today's internet software packages will automatically connect to the internet
when needed, however some older packages will not.
Therefore, if you don't start your Internet connection first, when you try to launch Knowledge Finder you might get an error message indicating that no databases could be found. |
